Welcome back to a brand-new school year at Hudson High School of Learning Technologies! As we embark on the 2026-2027 school year, we are continuing our core instructional focus: "Know the Standards, Own the Outcome." Grounded in our commitment to authentic student agency and cultivating a supportive "warm demander" framework, we will continue our work from last year alongside Sarah from District Public. This partnership will continue to provide our team with standard-aligned assessments, diagnostic tools, and site-based coaching to ensure that our daily tasks are transparently calibrated to state standards, helping our students grow into independent agents of their own academic success.

This year, however, we are raising the bar by embedding disciplinary literacy across all departments through an exciting new partnership with The Writers Revolution. Because well-developed written responses are a critical component of high-stakes assessments and post-secondary pathways, we must focus on equipping our students to express their understanding with clarity and stamina. Through this collaboration, we will integrate school-wide literacy practices—such as low-stakes Quick Writes and Cornell Note-Catchers—into every classroom. By aligning our daily cognitive rigor and supporting each student's writing development, we will ensure that every scholar in our building is prepared to demonstrate true mastery.
